Ingredients
- 3 cups sifted flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, ground shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, ground shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1-1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1/2 cup apple cider shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Sift together the first four ingredients and set aside.
- Beat together the butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the eggs and mix.
- Alternately, add the flour mixture and the apple cider.
- Begin and end with the flour mixture.
- Place the batter onto a well-buttered loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the
- cake comes out dry.
