Sparkling Watermelon Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine sugar and water in small saucepan.
  • Bring to boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
  • Cool.
  • Puree watermelon cubes in blender.
  • Add fresh lemon juice.
  • Strain watermelon/lemon puree.
  • Add cooled sugar solution.
  • Chill.
  • Fill drinking glass with crushed ice.
  • Pour watermelon lemonade over crushed ice until glass is about 3/4 full.
  • Top with Sprite.
  • Yield: Two quarts of lemonade.
