Vinegar Taffy Dated 1932 Recipe

Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients and boil to the hard ball state.
  • Pour into a well buttered pan and cool.
  • Pull taffy until it becomes white and porous.
  • Cut into 1 inch pieces.

    My mom used to make this for us when we were little. She passed away a few years ago and we never got the recipe from her....I was sooooo excited to find it here when I googled it as a last resort to finding the recipe. My oldest son asked if I could make grammas candy, now I can. Thankyou............
