How to make it

  • If the turnips are very young, leave the skin on, otherwise peel them and cut into 1/2 inch cubes. Cut off the greens and wash them. Boil grens and turnip cubes in salted water for about 8 min., drain and let cool slightly. Squeeze the greens dry and roughly chop them. Heat the butter in a wide pan over medium heat, until it foams. Add turnips and greens and heat through. Add heavy cream and simmer for a couple minutes, until slightly reduced. Season with s+p and nutmeg. Serve at once.
