Chicken Marinara Sauce

- 3 Boneless, skinless chicken Breasts (diced) shopping list
- 1 Tsbp olive oil shopping list
- 5 cloves garlic shopping list
- 1 Large onion shopping list
- 1 carrot (Grated) shopping list
- 1/4 C red wine shopping list
- 1 6 oz can tomato Paste shopping list
- 1 15 oz can tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes shopping list
- Dash nutmeg shopping list
- Dash red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1 green pepper shopping list
- 1/8 Tsp celery salt shopping list
- 1 Tbsp parsley flakes shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
- 1/4 C Grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- On Stove coat sauce pan with Olive Oil
- When hot add Garlic and Onion
- Sautee until onion is translucent
- Add chicken
- Let chicken brown slightly
- Add Green Pepper and Grated Carrot
- Add Red Wine and stir scraping the bottom of the pan
- Add all 3 cans of tomato products
- Season with Celery Salt, Pepper, Parsley, Red Pepper Flakes, & Bay Leaf
- Turn down heat and simmer 25 mins
- Stir in Cheese
- Serve over Pasta

I do this with ground poultry so I know you've shared a really delicious and satisfying sauce!

my wife and i tried this last night and it was really good. i personally would probably add a little more onion next time. but we used it with our homemade pasta that we had made for the first time. and it was superb.
