Pear Bundt Cake

- 4 ripe pears, peeled and chopped into bite size pieces shopping list
- Optional: 1/2 cup pecans, chopped shopping list
- 3 cups flour shopping list
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- dash salt shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 1 stick quality baking margarine shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 3 large eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1/4 cup pear liqueur or pear brandy shopping list
- 1/2 cup heavy cream shopping list
- icing drizzle as desired ( sugar and pear liqueur ) shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter and sugar fluffy
- Beat in eggs and vanilla
- Sift dry ingredients
- Beat dry ingredients into creamed mixture along with cream and pear liqueur
- Batter will be thick
- Slowly beat in pear and nuts to blend
- Place batter into a greased and floured 10 inch bundt pan
- Bake in a preheated 350F oven until tested done with a wooden toothpick about 45- 60 minutes.
- Remove to rack to cool for 15 minutes
- Carefully invert cake
- Glaze as desired while warm and cool completely
