How to make it

  • Cream butter and sugar fluffy
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla
  • Sift dry ingredients
  • Beat dry ingredients into creamed mixture along with cream and pear liqueur
  • Batter will be thick
  • Slowly beat in pear and nuts to blend
  • Place batter into a greased and floured 10 inch bundt pan
  • Bake in a preheated 350F oven until tested done with a wooden toothpick about 45- 60 minutes.
  • Remove to rack to cool for 15 minutes
  • Carefully invert cake
  • Glaze as desired while warm and cool completely
