How to make it

  • Remove a few chioptle chilis from the can and fine chop by hand
  • Place burger ingredients in a large bowl
  • Add the chopped chilis along with some of the sauce from the can, using as much as you like, adding breadcrumbs as needed to make a moist meatloaf consistency.
  • Season to taste
  • Shape into desired size
  • Make a little depression in center of burger to help them keep their shape
  • Chill well to frim up prior to use- may be prepared overnight
  • Grill, broil or pan fry as desired
  • Add the stuff you like to compose your slider burgers
  • I served mine with sides of macaroni, potato salad and coleslaw.
  • Add some pickles and chips and you have a feast!
