Goldie's Cherry Balls

I found this recipe in an old family cookbook that has been handed down and thought they sounded pretty good, my family loved them and i hope you will too :)
Ingredients
- 1 Cup oleo shopping list
- 1/2 Cup sifted powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 2 Cups flour shopping list
- maraschino cherries shopping list
How to make it
- Cream the above together, add enough water till it looks like pie dough.
- Drain the cherries good. Make a little ball out of the dough and roll a cherry in it.
- Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. DO NOT grease pan.
- Glaze mix some powdered sugar and cherry juice
- Dip each ball in glaze and drain on rack
