How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 350
  • Place the pork chops on a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika on both sides.
  • Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reads 170
  • While the chops are baking, melt the butter in a medium skillet.
  • Add mushrooms, shallots, salt and pepper to the pan, and saute until the mushrooms are soft but not too soft.
  • Add the wine and reduce until all of the wine has been absorbed by the mushrooms.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Once the pork chops are cooked through, top them with the mushrooms and then a slice of Provolone cheese.
  • Place them under the broiler until the cheese is melted and slightly golden (about 1-2 minutes).
  • Enjoy!
