Something to pass the time at the restaurant, with left over ingredients. Always have loved deep-fried pickles, this is just a variation,
Ingredients
- 8 slices Havarti or smoked Mozzarella shopping list
- 8 slices thin deli ham shopping list
- 8 dill pickle spears shopping list
- 8 egg roll wrappers shopping list
How to make it
- Lay out an egg roll wrapper
- Brush edges with egg wash.
- Place slice of ham, then cheese on wrapper.
- Place pickle on cheese.
- Fold in sides, a little more egg wash.
- Roll wrapper up, repeat with remaining.
- Deep fry for 3-5 minutes.
- Let drain on paper towel for 5-8 minutes.
- Careful, they may still be hot.
