Perfect Pecan Pie

- 1/2 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup corn syrup shopping list
- 4 large eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell or make your own shopping list
- 1 to 1 1/4 pecan halves shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Combine butter, sugar and corn syrup in a medium saucepan, cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves, cool slightly. Add eggs, vanilla and salt to mixture, mix well.
- 2. Pour filling into unbaked pastry shell and top with pecan halves. Bake at 325 for 50-55 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
