Primantis Steak Slaw And Cheese Recipe

Primantis Steak Slaw And Cheese Recipe
Primanti's is a local place in Pittsburgh made famous by this sandwich. VERY popular after bar-hopping, so I remember. It's at 2 S. Market Place if you ever get to go. This is my version of the wonderful mess!!!!

They do this with ALL their sandwiches. Top it with french fries and coleslaw. They have opened several locations. I have not gone yet. Should I? I bet the burger is good tho.

It's part of the Pittsburgh "experience"! Simple, sloppy and good :)

Sounds like a wonderful mess! kind of makes me think of the "animal style" In-n-Out burgers available out here on the left coast! thanks!

This isn't really the primanti's style but close. Theres no mayo or thousand island and the coleslaw is only shredded cabbage with a little apple cider vinegar and salt and pepper. No Ketchup as well, but if you're a true Pittsburgher you put Red Devil hot sauce on it. It can be made with all kinds of lunch meats and even eggs
