Mexican Wedding Cakes

- 1 cup butter, softened shopping list
- ½ cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract shopping list
- 1¾ cups flour shopping list
- ¾ cup finely chopped pecans shopping list
- 1 cup toffee bits, optional shopping list
- Additional powdered sugar for rolling the cookies in after baking shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter, sugar and vanilla together.
- Add flour gradually, and stir in nuts.
- Stir in toffee bits, if using.
- Roll dough into small balls, about the size of a quarter.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, until lightly browned on bottom.
- Remove cookies from oven and immediately roll in powdered sugar. Cool completely before storing in air tight container.
