Piedmontese Sause

- 4TBSP Olly Oil shopping list
- 8 oz sausage casings removed shopping list
- 4 oz good salami chopped shopping list
- 2 oz ham chopped shopping list
- 1 C chopped Onion shopping list
- 6 large garlic thickly sliced shopping list
- 1/2 C red wine shopping list
- 1 1/2 C beef stock shopping list
- 1/2 C heavy cream shopping list
How to make it
- Sauté sausage in oil, use spoon to break up into small pieces.
- Remove sausage with slotted spoon, reserve and return 3 TBSP of Oil
- Sauté onion and garlic, about 5 minutes, do not burn
- Add meats, stir a minute, add wine, reduce to half, add stock and cream
- Bring to a boil stirring, reduce to simmer cook for 35 minutes.
- Serve with gnocchi or Pastene fettuccini nests.
- I did not add any cheese.
