Easy Super Moist Slow Roasted Turkey

- I shopping list
- 1 14-20 pound turkey shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter shopping list
- 2 stalks celery shopping list
- 1 tsp dried sage shopping list
- 1 tsp dried rosemary shopping list
- tsp dried thyme or. basil shopping list
- 1 tablespoon creole seasoning shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon black cracked pepper shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
How to make it
- Wash, dry, and remove giblets
- Drizzle a little olive oil in roast pan,
- Place turkey in roasting pan
- Preheat oven to 400
- Mix spices and herbs together
- Take 1/2 of mixture and mix with butter(softened)
- Loosen skin over breast by placing hand under skin.
- Place butter mixture under skin of breast
- Cut up celery and place in cavity
- Sprinkle rest of mixture over turkey
- Place in oven and roast at 400 degrees for one hour
- Baste and Lower heat to 225 degrees
- Place two cups water in bottom of pain
- Continue baking overnight or for 6 to 8 hours or until cooked thru
- Remove from oven, baste and cover with foil until ready to serve.
