How to make it

  • Wash, dry, and remove giblets
  • Drizzle a little olive oil in roast pan,
  • Place turkey in roasting pan
  • Preheat oven to 400
  • Mix spices and herbs together
  • Take 1/2 of mixture and mix with butter(softened)
  • Loosen skin over breast by placing hand under skin.
  • Place butter mixture under skin of breast
  • Cut up celery and place in cavity
  • Sprinkle rest of mixture over turkey
  • Place in oven and roast at 400 degrees for one hour
  • Baste and Lower heat to 225 degrees
  • Place two cups water in bottom of pain
  • Continue baking overnight or for 6 to 8 hours or until cooked thru
  • Remove from oven, baste and cover with foil until ready to serve.
