How to make it

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 400F.
  • 2. Mix the filling ingredients together.
  • 3. Parboil the peppers for easy filling; perhaps 4-5 minutes, just slightly less firm.
  • 4. Leaving the tops on the peppers, slice each one open, lengthwise.
  • 5. Remove the seeds.
  • 6. Stuff each pepper with the filling.
  • 7. Wrap each pepper with bacon.
  • 8. Bake at 400F for 35 minutes.
  • 9. Serve with Dill Dip or Dill Sauce.
  • For the dip or sauce:
  • Combine and chill. Best made the night before using.
