Banana And Sour Cream Pancakes

- 1 cup bread flour( or regular all purpose) shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 3/4 cup half and half, a little more if you want thinner cakes shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract shopping list
- 14 teaspoon lemon extract optional shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted shopping list
- 1 ripe banana, mashed diced shopping list
- Optional, pecan or walnut pieces shopping list

- Pure maple syrup shopping list
How to make it
- Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the sour cream, eggs, half and half, vanilla, and lemon.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones, mixing only until combined.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat until it bubbles.
- Spoon out the pancake batter into the pan to make desired size pancakes.
- Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until bubbles appear on top and the underside is nicely browned.
- Flip the pancakes and then cook for another minute until browned.
- Add more butter to pan each time before spooning in next pancake.
- You may want to wipe out pan with paper towel before adding butter to prevent too brown .
- If desired, Sprinkle each pancake with nuts of choice while cooking. Serve with maple syrup on side or powder sugar.
- Also can top with sliced bananas and butter.
