- 1 stick (4 ounces) unsalted butter shopping list
- 2 medium-size potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch cubes shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced shopping list
- 2 pounds small shrimp, peeled and deveined shopping list
- 1/2 cup sliced button mushrooms shopping list
- 1 cup shelled green peas shopping list
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley shopping list
- 1/4 cup white wine shopping list
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. shopping list
How to make it
- 1.Melt butter in a large saute pan over medium-low heat. Add potatoes. Cook about 7 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and beginning to brown.
- 2.Add garlic, raise heat to medium and cook, stirring, until garlic begins to release its aroma. Add shrimp and mushrooms. Raise heat to medium-high and cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, 5 minutes or so.
- 3.Add peas, parsley, wine, salt and pepper. Stir to mix well. Cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until peas and potato cubes are soft. Do not overcook. Serve immediately.
- Yield: 4 servings.
