- Baked Fluffy Eggs Recipe for Baby shopping list
- 1 slice whole wheat bread shopping list
- 1 egg, yolk separated from the white (take care not to break the yolk) shopping list
- little unsalted butter shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 350 deg F, 180 deg C.
- Toast the slice of bread and spread it with a little butter.
- Place the egg white in a medium bowl and whisk it until it forms stiff peaks and you can turn the bowl upside down without the mixture sliding out. (NOTE: We use our electric whisk for speed, although it can be done by hand if you don't have one).
- Spoon the egg white on to your slice of toast and arrange in a circle, leaving a hole in the middle.
- Carefully drop the yolk into the hole.
- Place in the oven and bake for around 10 minutes, until the yolk is firmly set.
- Cool to a safe temperature and serve. You can cut this up or simply let your baby 'dive in' - admittedly rather messy and not very practical, but all our little ones have loved it!
