Shrimp On Grill

- 1 1/4 pounds of peeled and deveined large shrimp shopping list
- 1/2 cup of Dad’s favorite lager-style beer shopping list
- juice of 1 lemon shopping list
- 5 smashed garlic cloves shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in pieces, shopping list
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning shopping list
- Kosher salt shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat a grill to medium heat. Lay out a large piece of foil and spread out 1 1/4 pounds of peeled and deveined large shrimp in the center of the foil. Pour in 1/2 cup of Dad’s favorite lager-style beer (give him the rest to drink). The add the juice of 1 lemon (throw in the lemon halves too), 5 smashed garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in pieces, 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning and a sprinkle of kosher salt. Top with another large piece of foil, crimp and fold the edges together to seal tightly. Transfer the foil pack to the grill, close the lid and cook until all the shrimp are pink and cooked through, 4 to 6 minutes. Let sit for a few minutes and then, careful of the steam, rip the packet open. Serve with boiled potatoes or corn. Sop up the juices with crusty whole grain bread or cornbread.
