This was so good and not at all what I was expecting. I really anticipated something sweet, but that wasn’t the case at all. Instead, it had a beautifully flavored brown sauce and the amount of ginger was just right. The only thing I did different was thicken the sauce with a little cornstarch that I dissolved in water. I added that just a few minutes prior to serving. Served over rice and broccoli. Thanks, NadineM for sharing one of your great recipes.

Excellent!!! I used a sirloin roast that I cut into bite size pieces and finished it off in the oven @300 as Manella suggested. This came together really quickly but tasted like I had slaved over it all day. According to the family, it's a keeper. Thanks Nadine!!!

I have made this a while back and it is a very nice dish. I replaced the butter with Earth Balance spread as I am lactose intolerant.
Thanks NadineM for a very tasty dish..
