Val's Spicy Baked Shrimp (AR Valorie)

- 3 tablespoons bacon drippings (leftover drippings) shopping list
- 1/3 cup real bacon bits shopping list
- 1 ½ to 2 sticks unsalted butter shopping list
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1 ½ teaspoons chili powder shopping list
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes shopping list
- ½ teaspoon dried basil shopping list
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme shopping list
- 3 tablespoons chopped onion shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- ½ cup dry white wine shopping list
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon old bay shopping list
- 2 tablespoons Mrs. Dash Caribbean Citrus seasoning shopping list
- 2 pounds uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined shopping list
- Finish with Fresh ground pepper. shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Preheat the oven to 375 (190 C)
- 2. Melt butter in skillet with bacon drippings over medium heat. Stir in bacon bits, Dijon mustard, chili powder, red pepper flakes, basil, thyme, onion, and garlic. Cook until tender, stirring frequently. About 5 to 8 minutes.
- 3. Stir in the shrimp toss to coat; pour shrimp mixture onto a baking sheet or baking dish. Bake in preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until shrimp are done.
