How to make it

  • In large bowl, blend butter until fluffy. Add mascarpone and beat until combined and light and fluffy (about 2 minutes)
  • Blend in extracts.
  • Blend in a pinch of salt, and 1 tbsp milk and then add sugar gradually, about 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition, until you have the consistency desired.
  • You can add more sugar or more milk to achieve the proper consistency.
  • Makes enough to frost the top of a 13" x 9" cake, or a 9" x 9" with some left over.
