- Left over Roast beef - diced or can use Corned beef - shredded shopping list
- 4 large Tatties (Potatoes) - partially boiled and sliced shopping list
- 1 Onion - thinly sliced shopping list
- 1tbsp Dripping (from cooked beef) or Lard shopping list
- A wee touch of beef stock shopping list
- Salt and Pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Add a wee bit of lard to a pot and gently cook the onions until soft;
- Add the beef or other and salt and pepper.
- Layer over with tattie slices and cover with the stock to taste (depending on how moist you prefer the meal);
- Suggestion - add a wee bit and top up as required.
- Simmer on the hob for about an hour or cook in the oven at 190c/380f/gas 5 for about 50 minutes.
