Gordy's Baby Back Ribs

- 3 pounds baby back ribs shopping list
- salt and ground black pepper, to taste shopping list
- 2 tsp. smoked paprika shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. sage shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce (I use Sweet Baby Rays) shopping list
How to make it
- Spice mix: Mix together smoked paprika, sage, cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
- Cut ribs to fit into slow cooker.
- Season top and bottom of ribs with salt and pepper.
- Rub spice mix all over ribs.
- Pour water into slow cooker. Layer the ribs into the slow cooker.
- Cook on High for 3 hours.
- Add barbeque sauce to cover all ribs. You may not need the entire bottle.
- Cook an additional 3 hours on high.
- Note: Adjust the seasonings to your liking.
