Grandma's Best Rice Pudding

- 1/3 cup (80 mL) Arborio ( short-grain Italian) rice shopping list
- 2 cups (500 mL) Milk shopping list
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) sugar shopping list
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) butter softened shopping list
- Grated zest of 1 lemon shopping list
- 1 tsp (5 mL) ground cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 250° F (120 °C).
- Mix the rice, milk, sugar, butter and lemon zest together in a bowl and pour the mixture into a buttered 8-cup (2 L) baking dish. Bake uncovered for 2 hrs.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve hot or cold.
