Chicken With Wild Rice

- 8 chicken breasts shopping list
- 3 Boxes Uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice (Original Recipe!) shopping list
- 8 oz canned mushrooms (or 16 fresh and saute them down first in some butter) shopping list
- 3 cans cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 cup rhine wine (or to taste) shopping list
- 1 small jar of pimiento shopping list
- 3 TB butter shopping list
How to make it
- Cook rice per box instructions but only use 2 cups of water per box.
- While rice is cooking brown the chicken in butter. Just get a nice golden color on it. The cooking will finish in the oven. Remove chicken from pan but reserve the drippings.
- Add remainder of ingredients to the drippings and make a smooth sauce.
- Put rice in a 13x9 dish and arrange chicken on top. Pour sauce over all. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 25 min and then remove foil and bake another 20-25 min.
