Baked Potato And Broccoli Soup

- 1/4 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 2 cans of chicken broth, divided shopping list
- 3 cups of white peeled potatoes, and cubed shopping list
- 2 cups of broccoli florets, chopped shopping list
- 1 small onion, peeled and chopped shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups of milk shopping list
- 1 8oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded shopping list
- 7 tsp green onions shopping list
- 3 slices fully cooked bacon, crumbled shopping list
- 4 tsp sharp cheddar cheese, shredded shopping list
How to make it
- 1- Whisk flour and 1/3 cup of chicken broth in a bowl and set aside.
- 2-In a large pot, add remaining broth and add potatoes, green onion and broccoli. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- 3- Gradually stir in the flour mixture and cook stirring often for 5 minutes or until it thickens.
- 4- Stir in milk and 8oz cheese until cheese melts.
- 5-When serving, fry bacon and drain and crumble on top along with remaining cheese.
