- 2/3 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C) shopping list
- 1 3/4 cups bread flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons dry milk powder shopping list
- 2 teaspoons white sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoons margarine shopping list
- 1 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast shopping list
How to make it
- Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
- Select the Medium Crust and Basic/White Bread.
- To make in a KA: Proof yeast in sugar and water.
- After yeast has turned foamy, about 10 mins, add everything but the cheese, seasoning and margarine to the bowl of the KA.
- Beat with the bread hook until mixture forms a ball and pulls away from the sides and the bottom of the bowl.
- Knead for about 5 minutes.
- Remove from the bowl and wipe bowl clean, drizzle with olive oil. Turn to coat the bowl and return dough to the bowl. Turn to coat.
- Cover with a plastic wrap and place in a warm place until dough doubles, about 40 minutes.
- Punch down dough and form into a loaf.
- Place in a greased loaf pan, cover with plastic wrap'
- Place loaf pan in a warm place and allow to double.
- Brush with the oil,cheese,seasoning mixture gently.
- Place in heated oven, 350, for about 50 mins or until loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
- Allow the bread to cool slightly before removing from pan.

This was so easy to prepare! And smells amazing while it bakes! I put it in an 8" round cake pan to bake and it only took 35 minutes. It's similar to a focaccia, but more bread like. Mine got a nice crust because of the pan but if you like it so...more
