Grandma Shirley's Pumpkin Cake

- 3 cups flour shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 t. baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 t. Salt shopping list
- 1 t. cinnamon shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 cups pumpkin puree ( aprox a small can) shopping list
- 1 (12 oz) bag semi-sweet choce chips shopping list
- 1 cup nuts (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a bundt pan well using cooking spray or shortening
- Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix well.
- In separate bowl, combine eggs, oil and pumpkin.
- Add wet to dry ingredients. Mix well. Mix in chocolate chips (and nuts if using them).
- Pour into bundt pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1 1/4 hours checking with toothpick into thickest part for doneness.
