- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 3/4 tsp. nutmeg (1/2 ground fresh) shopping list
- 3/4 tsp. ginger shopping list
- 3/8 tsp. ground cloves shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat together sugar, oil, vanilla, eggs, and pumpkin. Stir in flour mixture alternately with water. Divide batter evenly between the prepared pans.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. For best flavor, store wrapped in plastic wrap at room temperature for a full day before serving.
