Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

- 1 4 pound pork shoulder roast shopping list
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle root beer, I used A&W shopping list
- 1 (18 ounce) bottle your favorite barbecue sauce, I use Presidents's choice with beer and chipotle shopping list
- 8 buns of your choice, split and lightly toasted. shopping list
How to make it
- Place the pork in a slow cooker; pour the root beer over the meat.
- Cover and cook on low until well cooked and the pork shreds easily, 6 to 7 hours or until fork tender.
- Flip roast half way through.
- Drain well and shred with two forks.
- Stir in barbecue sauce and cook on low for an additional hour, add a little water it mixture is too thick.
- Serve over toasted buns.
- * Note: the actual length of time may vary according to individual slow cooker.
- ** spray the pot with oil for an easier clean-up or use a slow cooker liner.
