Scallion Pancakes

- 7 Scallions (washed, dried and sliced) shopping list
- 1 & 1/4 Cups Flour shopping list
- 1 & 1/2 Tsp Backing Powder shopping list
- 1 Medium egg Beaten shopping list
- 1 & 1/2 Cups Cold Water shopping list
- 3/4 Tsp Salt shopping list
- White Pepper A Pinch shopping list
- 2 Tbsp Peanut Oil shopping list
- The dipping sauce shopping list
- 1 & 1/2 Cups Low Sodium Soy Sauce shopping list
- 2 Tbsp Rice wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 Tsp Sesame Seed oil shopping list
- 1 Tsp Sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together.
- Beat the egg put in the peanut oil pour in the water and add the scallions.Whisk it together well.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet and mix.
- Heat a lightly oiled wok or heavy skillet pour in some batter and lift the sides to allow the batter to spread out. You want a thin pancake Like a crepe not like a American style thicker pancake. Flip over and brown the other side. Remove and keep in the oven an a low temperature to keep warm until all are cooked.
