How to make it

  • Drain and de-bone salmon.
  • In food processor, crumble bread (untoasted) to crumbs.
  • Mince onion. Shred carrot.
  • Mix salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, carrot and egg in bowl.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Form 6 patties (or sized to your liking).
  • Cut large onion into 8ths.
  • Fry onion along with patties in small amount of oil until both sides are golden brown, and onion and sautee until is tender and golden. (Aprox 4-5 min a side)
  • Can be served warm or cold, but best served at room temperature

    I made this recipe a while back.Instead of the bread I used lactose, gluten free oats ground up fine.Also added garlic, it is a very tasty salmon patty that I will make again. Thank you Lindsay for the recipe.
