How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients together into a seal-able container.
  • Shake until everything is mixed.
  • Makes enough dry mix for one 1/2 pint mason jar
  • Once made, keep it refrigerated

  • The ingredients listed are in the picture with the Chives at the top, then going clock wise around the plate ending with the salt. The buttermilk powder is in the mason jar. See Photo

  • Ranch Dressing:
  • use 1 TBL of the dry mix with 1 cup of mayo (or sour cream) and 1/2 cup milk. (This combination is very thick and creamy, If you want a thinner dressing, use 1 cup of milk.)
  • Ranch Popcorn:
  • after tossing the popcorn with some oil or melted butter add about 1 TBL of dry mix into the popcorn and shake to combine.
  • Cool Ranch Popcorn:
  • Same as the ranch popcorn, but we add in 1/2 tsp of the Taco seasoning with the 1 TBL of the dry ranch mix.
  • (If anyone has any suggestions about combinations of paprika/chili powder, dried tomato etc to make a more legit tasting cool ranch i would welcome your suggestions.)
  • Ranch Burgers:
  • we will add about 1 TBL of the dry ranch mix to every pound of ground beef when making burgers. We have also done this with tacos and meatballs (not in red sauce, just plain with olive oil, cheese and pasta)
