Ingredients

  • • A little madness, more or less to taste. shopping list
  • • 2 handsfull of cooked pasta. 2 or 3 cups, depending on how big your hand is. Sub spuds, if you like. shopping list
  • • 2 strips of bacon, chopped. shopping list
  • • ½ to ¾ cups crab, lobster, cooked clams, chopped Kielbasa, etc. You get the idea. Some sort of meat, or seafood. Most of you will get your seafood from a can. I get mine from one of my brothers in law, or the lady down the road. shopping list
  • • 1 Tbs. butter. More or less, depending on how fatty your choice of meat or seafood is. shopping list
  • • ½ small onion, chopped. shopping list
  • • 1 clove garlic, finally chopped. shopping list
  • • Pinch of Italian seasoning. Optional. shopping list
  • • Salt & FG pepper, to taste. shopping list

How to make it

  • 1. Prep your stuff. Slice, dice, chop and cook, as necessary.
  • 2. Get out your medium sized frying pan. Cast iron, if you have one.
  • 3. Heat that up & put in the butter & bacon. Stir well.
  • 4. When the bacon starts to sizzle add the onions.
  • 5. Cook until the onions just start to turn brown.
  • 6. Add the garlic and cook one more minute.
  • 7. Add the cooked pasta & Italian seasoning and heat through, stirring frequently.
  • 8. Serve.
  • As mentioned above, subs & addons are the rule here. I often add a few broccoli or cauliflower florets. Grate some Parmesan or Romano cheese on the top See Photo. Enjoy.
