How to make it

  • Rinse and drain the peas. Add the onions, tomato, garlic, and jalapeño. Add the oil, vinegar, and herbs and mix thoroughly. Refrigerate immediately and let marinate for at least 6 hours, stirring occasionally. Drain marinade and serve chilled. Serves 10

    Sounds delish! Love black eyed peas and make them every New Year' family is from Oklahoma..I think it's a southern thing:)

    I love Texas caviar any time of year. With tortilla chips it is great on the table foe a football game.
