- 8tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil shopping list
- 4 sticks celery - finely chopped shopping list
- 2 carrots - finely chopped shopping list
- 1 Onion - finely chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves Garlic - crushed shopping list
- 1 sprig Rosemary shopping list
- 4 bay leaves shopping list
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and gently fry the celery, carrot, onion, garlic, rosemary and bay leaves for some 15 minutes or so until golden;
- Remove the rosemary sprig and bay leaves and season with salt and pepper;
- Use accordingly
