How to make it

  • Add the peanut butter, garlic, coconut milk and the water into a small sauce pan and combine together well;
  • On medium heat, stirring continuously, heat the mixture for some 1 to 2 minutes or so until smooth and thick;
  • Add the tabasco, honey, lemon juice and soy sauce and, stirring well to combine everything, heat further for about 1 minute or until the sauce is warmed through;
  • Note: Take care not to overheat the sauce as it will easily separate.

    Hola Amigo! This sounds a better recipe than the one I've been using, which I brush over little pork or chicken kebabs, tapas size, when they're nearly done - then use the rest for dipping. I'll be trying this soon. Thanks for the post.

    Honestly Don; I've never been tempted to try peanut sauce. Even in Bang cock I gave it a miss. If I give this a go, what do I dip in it?
