Ingredients
  • 12 slices of tofu
  • 1/2 cup beet juice (organic if possible)
  • Garlic powder (to taste)
  • Parsley
  • 2 tbles of fresh lemon juice
  • Vegetable salt
  • 1 tble tamari (soya sauce)
  • Maple syrup (if desired)

Directions
  1. Cut tofu in block into slices
  2. Mix all other ingredients together
  3. Add the tofu slices
  4. Marinate for a few hours
  5. Add slices and some sauce in a heated pan
  6. Cook with vegetables in the pan at medium heat for a few minutes (6-7 mins. or until done)

What type of tofu do you use? Is it better to freeze it first? I am guessing firm tofu would work best? If it tastes close to ham, I would love to try it out.
