How to make it

  • Place avocado in a mason jar with lime juice, put on lid and shake well.
  • Then add mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, and vinegar.
  • Shake well again.
  • Sprinkle with salt, pepper, parsley, dill, onion powder, garlic powder and sugar if using.
  • Shake until well blended, chill until ready to serve.

  • Tips
  • Avocado ranch dressing can be used as a sauce for grilled chicken burgers and it can be used as a dip for chicken nuggets, vegetables and shrimp.
  • The acidity of the lime will help keep the avocado in the dressing from turning brown, however, keep your dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep the flavors fresh.
