Turkey Loaf

- 1 1/2 pound ground turkey shopping list
- 3/4 to 1 cup mashed potatoes( 1 bake two potatoes and scoop out the potatoes and mash with a little milk) shopping list
- 1 cup cooked chopped broccoli, mashed shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 tablespoon Zataran's Garluc and Herb seasoning or your favorite seasoning blend shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped celery shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 2/3 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 cup shredded cheese ( I use the triple blend cheddar but you can use cheddar, Gouda, or any blend you prefer) shopping list
How to make it
- Sauté onions and celery in butter until tender or about two minutes.
- In a bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes and mashed up broccoli.
- Stir the onions and celery, turkey, spice, cheese, bread crumbs, and egg and mix together well.
- Mold into loaf shape and place in baking dish.
- Bake in preheated 350degree oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until meatloaf is cooked.
- You can remove from oven and top with additional cheese if desired, place back in the oven and continue to cook 5 minutes or until cheese is melted
