Easy Chocolate Peanut Butter Marshmallow Fudge

- 4 cups of sugar shopping list
- 1 cup of milk shopping list
- 1 cup of powdered cocoa, I used my favorite: special dark chocolate shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt, amplifies the flavor of the chocolate shopping list
- 1 - 16 ounce jar of peanut butter, creamy or chunky shopping list
- 1 large package of marshmallows, 8 ounces shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla shopping list
- 1 cup nut meats, your choice (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Heat the first 4 ingredients on medium in a heavy pan, I used cast iron, as I love cast iron so that is what I have in my home, until it starts to boil.
- Boil for 3 minutes. Stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Add marshmallows, stir until all melted, if using the large ones this will take about 5 minutes.
- Then add the peanut butter and the vanilla.
- Stir until well blended.
- If adding nut meats I would add them at this point, bags and bags of walnuts in my freezer, I will add them next time I make this for Yule / Christmas care packages. And again I am not fond of walnuts yet so many people seem to like them, they taste bitter to me.
- Mix them in quickly.
- Then find someone to hold up the heavy hot cast iron pan so you can pour it into an 8 by 13 pan.
- Let it set up, it took it about an hour, I waited about 6 hours to cut it and taste it.
- Set up beautifully and tasted good.
