Left Over Apple Pie Dump Cake With Whiskey Sauce

- 1 box butter pecan , spice, or yelliw cake mix shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 apple pie with crumb topping ( 1 whole cooked or 1/2 pie) shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 3/4 stick butter melted shopping list
- Topping shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter shopping list
- 2/3 cup dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup whipping cream or milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup whiskey shopping list
- 1 cup powder sugar shopping list
- Chopped pecans ( optionsl) garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Separate the crumble from the pie and set aside
- Sxoop out the filling from the pie and place in a bowl stir l the cake mix, and the 3 eggs
- Pour mixture into greased and floured baking pan
- Crumble the pie crust and mux it with the crumbs
- Spribkle crumble over cake mix
- Pour the 2/3 stick melted butter over crumbs
- Spribkle chopped pevans on top and put it oven
- Bake 30 minutes or until cake is done.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool while making glaxe
- Glaze
- In small saucepan, melt butter.
- Srir in brown sugar and cook over med high heat for 2 minutes while stirring
- Stir in heavy cream and cook another 1 to 2 mintes
- Stir in whiskey and remove from heat
- Cooll slightly and wisk in powder sugar
- Pour glaze over warm cake and cut into serving pieces
- Top with whipped cream and chopped pexans if desired.
