How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Separate the crumble from the pie and set aside
  • Sxoop out the filling from the pie and place in a bowl stir l the cake mix, and the 3 eggs
  • Pour mixture into greased and floured baking pan
  • Crumble the pie crust and mux it with the crumbs
  • Spribkle crumble over cake mix
  • Pour the 2/3 stick melted butter over crumbs
  • Spribkle chopped pevans on top and put it oven
  • Bake 30 minutes or until cake is done.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool while making glaxe
  • Glaze
  • In small saucepan, melt butter.
  • Srir in brown sugar and cook over med high heat for 2 minutes while stirring
  • Stir in heavy cream and cook another 1 to 2 mintes
  • Stir in whiskey and remove from heat
  • Cooll slightly and wisk in powder sugar
  • Pour glaze over warm cake and cut into serving pieces
  • Top with whipped cream and chopped pexans if desired.
