Sweet And Spicy Baked Shrimp Tacos

- Spice Mixture: shopping list
- 1/3 c. sugar shopping list
- 3 T. firmly packed brown sugar shopping list
- 2 T. all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 T. plain Panko flakes shopping list
- 1/2 t. ground allspice shopping list
- 1/2 t. ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 t. ground red pepper shopping list
- 1/4 t. garlic powder shopping list
- 1/4 t. ground ginger shopping list
- Shrimp: shopping list
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) Unsalted butter, melted shopping list
- 1 (16-oz) pkg. uncooked, peeled medium shrimp, thawed shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 1/2 c. sour cream shopping list
- 1 T. lime juice shopping list
- 2 t. chopped fresh cilantro shopping list
- 1/2 t. chili powder shopping list
- Tacos: shopping list
- I went with (6) Large flour tortillas, but you can use any size according to taste, warmed shopping list
- 2 c. cole slaw mix shopping list
How to make it
- *Heat oven to 500° F. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil; set aside.
- *Combine all spice mixture ingredients in small bowl. Dip shrimp in butter then in spice mixture. Place onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 5 to 6 minutes or until shrimp are pink and coating is bubbly.
- *Meanwhile, combine all sauce ingredients in small bowl.
- *To assemble tacos, stack 2 warmed tortillas onto each individual serving plate. Top with 1/8 baked shrimp and 1/4 cup coleslaw mix. Drizzle with sauce.
