Seattle Bbq Beef Ribs

- RIBS: shopping list
- 1 rack of beef ribs cut into 3 pieces shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. seasoning salt shopping list
- 1 cup vegetable, beef or chicken stock shopping list
- 1 cup of apple juice shopping list
- BBQ SAUCE: shopping list
- 1/12 cup store bought BBQ sauce shopping list
- 1 1/2 Tbs apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 1 Tbs honey (or to taste) shopping list
- 2 Tbs strong brewed coffee shopping list
How to make it
- Place the ribs in a large pot. Add season salt, broth, and apple juice. Fill with water until the ribs are just covered. Bring the pot to a boil them lower heat to medium and simmer for 1 hour. Turn off the heat and let the ribs sit in the water for 30 minutes. Remove ribs from water and lightly pat dry.
- Prepare grill for grilling or preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Meanwhile mix all 4 ingredients together for your BBQ sauce. Taste and add more honey if too tangy.
- Slather BBQ sauce all over ribs. Place on a grill for 20 minutes, basting occasionally with extra BBQ sauce, or place on a foil lined baking sheet in preheated oven for 30 minutes, also basting occasionally. Slice ribs into serving size pieces and enjoy!!
- *This recipe makes a little extra BBQ sauce than needed :)
