How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Turn out and press into a baking pan.
  • Bake 15 minutes and leave to cool completely on sheet before cutting and wrapping.

    Yes, these are delicious, but mine crumbled into a million pieces also. I am going to make them again, but will use hot water instead of room temp, maybe this will make more of a glue with the oats. Let you know how it turns out! And a substitute for the cider is to use organic apple juice and add about 1/4 tsp cinnamon.

    I'm not sure I can get apple cider throughout the year - i've only ever seen it sold around October, could i use apple juice or apple cider vinegar instead? The recipe looks great!

    Great recipe! They were so easy to make. I love granola bars..but there is usually so much crap in them. It was easy to make substitutions and I had every thing in my cupboard!
