Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cream together butter, cheese, sauces and cayenne.
  • Use your hands to mix in flour, cereal and salt
  • Roll dough into logs 1 1/2" in diameter and 6" long. Wrap in waxed paper and chill 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Remove dough from refrigerator and unwrap. Dip a knife in cold water and carefully cut dough into 14" thick rounds. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet, leaving enough room between biscuits for spreading.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned.
  • Store in an airtight container. Makes 60.
  • The texture depends on the quantity of flour. For a crisp, thin biscuit, use a little less flour; for a softer one, use more.
