Green Box Recipe by Mom. THIS RECIPE IS NOT EDIBLE - although, you could probably eat it... but... it won't taste good! YUCK!

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup salt
- 2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 cup water
- 1 Tablespoon cooking oil
- Food coloring
Directions
- Mix dry ingredients in a heavy pan. Add oil, water & coloring. Cook 3 minutes (medium heat), turn out and knead slightly. Store in airtight container.
- [NOTE: It cooks up fast; in a sort of lump; I cook til dry, then knead. I also add a few drops of oil of pepperment or baby oil to make it smell good. The pan cleans up very easily. The playdough will dry hard, but I don't advise playing with it on shag carpeted areas!]

I've always liked the smell of playdough. Smells like wild musk to me. When I catch a whiff of that smell it hies my mind back to when I was a child in school.
Now that I'm all growed up this recipe looks like it could be used as a very salty roux.
