Spanish Style Chorizo In Red Wine

- 2tbsp Olive Oil shopping list
- 1 large Shallot - sliced shopping list
- 1 clove Garlic - finely chopped shopping list
- 300g/10oz Chorizo - cut diagonally into 2.5cm/1in chunks shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
- 200ml/7fl oz dry Red Wine shopping list
- Crusty bread shopping list
How to make it
- Heat a frying pan until medium hot, add the olive oil, shallot and garlic and fry for some 2 to 3 minutes or so, or until softened;
- Add the chorizo and fry for some 1 to 2 minutes or so, or until crisp and the oil is released;
- Add the bay leaves and red wine, and cook until the volume of wine has reduced to just coating the chorizo.
